Joseph Ruiz's Flat Stanley visits CA

Joseph Ruiz's Flat Stanley sure is enjoying Northern CA. He got to see the famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco which is known as the most photographed bridge in the entire world. He is staying with Joseph's cousin Grace who lives in the east bay of San Francisco. In the east bay you can see Mt. Diablo which can be seen throughout Northern CA and is a great place to go for a beautiful hike.

Felicia Vincent's Stanley Goes up Old Baldy

Well boys and girls I did it! I hiked Mount Baldy today with David the dogs and Tia Rosinha!

The view of the valley from the top of Old Baldy was breathtaking!

The trail is about 1.31 Km uphill, at the summit Old Baldy has an elevation of 895 m.  Along the trail you can find benches were you can sit and take a rest if you need to and have a drink. My favorite ones were the Trails for Tomorrow and the one at the very top in memory of a local lady. Things are starting to get a little green! David says spring is finally here!

Hello again boys and girls, I have been very busy with my friend David.

I have been to karate and baseball this week with David, I had sooooo much fun!

Did you notice my karate gi (uniform) and my obi (belt)?  I learned many new things and words in karate class.
