It's Almost Time

Are you ready for first grade?  I hope so because it will be time to go back before you know it!  I am finishing my family vacation... look at the pictures.  Can you figure out where the Hewitt Family went?  It won't be long before we are back together.  Enjoy the rest of the vacation.  See you in September!

It's hard to believe it is the same classroom.  I have just returned from a teacher's conference and learned so many new things.  I can't wait to share them with you.   Now I must tackle putting this room back together.   Let me hear what you have been up to!

First Graders

Here we are 10 minutes away from First Grade.

I am teaching my class how to post a message.

We love school!  First Grade will be fun!

Sending A Post In

It's so easy to send a post by email.  You need to send an email to the address that I sent home.  (if you have lost it, please email me for that again)

Type your post heading as the Subject in the email. 

Then type what you want to appear (really have the kids do it... sound spelling is perfect!)

Attach a picture to the email if you want and hit send. 

That's all there is to it. 

Welcome to NEXT year!

Well, since in a few days we will ALL be in First Grade, I thought I would make a blog that the first graders could send their summer escapades to.  It will be set up so that the kids can email their stories and pictures directly in from the summer.  I hope to hear from everyone at least once, if not more.
